Damascus 2005 £249.95
The
brand new Boker Damascus collector's knife goes back to
the roots of the classic bolster lockback folding knives.
A beautiful and traditional design in a presentation grade.
The blade is, as expected, forged of 300 layers of breathtaking
Damascus steel. The legendary lockback locks the blade securely
in the open position. The handle is made of hand-picked
and exclusive Thuya wood, which blends perfectly with the
Damascus. Only the best materials and precise work done
by hand are good enough for this masterpiece. As a sign
of quality we gave our Boker emblem to the handle. The innovation
of this knife is that we have used a bolster made of real
Damascus for the first time. The fine line of the brass
liner is an attractive contrast to the Damascus bolster
and the warm tones of the exotic Thuya wood handles. This
serialized and limited collector's knife comes with a wooden
gift box and a certificate of authenticity. There will only
be 999 pieces available, and when they're gone, they're
gone!
Overall
length: 7 1/4".
Blade length: 3 1/8".

Damascus 2006 (112006)
£265.95
"Masame
Tsukuri" is the Japanese term for forging Damascus
steel like wood grain. In Europe, it is called "Wild
Damascus", which is used for the first time for this
special annual knife. The structure is a natural result
of the forging process, rather than an embossing die (tool).
The connoisseur of the international cutlery industry will
recognize that we used the patented Spyderhole®. Our
friends at SPYDERCO in Colorado granted exclusive permission
to use it for our annual Damascus knife. That you, Spyderco!
Specially selected 300-year-old root wood from a nut tree,
air-dried 10 years, is equivalent to our standards for an
exclusive collector's series. Presented in a wooden gift
box. Limited to 999 pieces worldwide.
Overall
length 7".
Blade length 2 3/4".
Weight 4.8 oz.
