Fulcrum (7403) £44.95 |
To
open the Fulcrum, simply press the left side of the frame
down with your thumb. The blade swings out to the 90-degree
position. Then pull the left side of the frame back, gripping
with your index finger at the choil, and the blade continues
to rotate open and lock in the open position. After a
few openings, you can do it naturally in one continuous,
fluid action, or “fulcrumation.”
To
close the Fulcrum, simply release the stainless steel
locking liner. One-hand closing is also fast and easy.
The
build uses our high-carbon steel InterFrame with a steel
pivot at the back spacer. Scales are injection molded
of tough CPL composite, and the swirls on each one are
unique. The stainless steel bolsters have a diamond pattern.
The
2.75” blade is a modified drop point style with
a high hollow grind, made from premium AUS 8 stainless
steel.

CRKT
Anubis (1120) £65.95 |
Allen
Elishewitz, the acclaimed Canyon Lake, Texas, knifemaker
designed the CRKT production version of his Anubis (the
jackal-headed god of the underworld, according to ancient
Egyptian mythology). Our CRKT Anubis™ shows its lineage
as an Elishewitz shape, with the benefits of advanced production
technology.
The
blade shape is uniquely Allen’s, with a pronounced
drop point, long spine and a high hollow grind, resulting
in strength and cutting power. For superior edge retention,
we use AUS 8 stainless steel in a non-reflective bead-blast
finish. It is available in both Razor-Sharp and Combined
Razor-Sharp and Triple-Point™ Serrated edge grinds.
A gold-plated Elishewitz logo is inset into the stainless
steel blade in the manner of custom knives.
Teflon®
and brass bearings at the blade pivot assure fast either-hand
opening, using dual checkered thumb studs which also act
as blade stops.
The
button lock gives absolute steel-on-steel lockup, resulting
in the strongest lock possible. We have added a version
of our patented* AutoLAWKS™ automatic safety, giving
maximum security against accidental closing. To fold the
knife, you must pull back the safety lever and press the
button at the same time, making accidental release during
vigorous use just about impossible.
Allen’s
design also features an unusual open build with a Zytel®
spine back spacer that allows easy cleaning of the blade
groove. Construction is stainless steel for the frame with
injection-molded Zytel scales and an inset brushed stainless
steel bolster at the butt. The handle perfectly fits the
average adult hand. Dual reliefs at the finger choil aid
grip, and make opening easier. |

CRKT
Pharaoh (1130) £65.95 |
First
there is the unique blade grind, reminiscent of the traditional
“long clip blade” of a century ago, with Allen’s
own innovations. The tip is designed for penetration, with
a swedged top edge. But the centre of the blade is recurved,
with a high hollow grind, making it ideal for feeding material
to the cutting edge— wood, cord, vegetation. The blade
is AUS 8 premium stainless steel in a bead-blast finish.
Both Razor-Sharp and Combined Razor-Sharp and Triple-Point™
Serrated edge grinds are available.
The
frame is about the strongest we can imagine, with dual stainless
steel liners, brushed stainless steel bolsters, textured
injection-molded Zytel® scales, and a solid Zytel back
spacer at the spine.
New
black-out models. This year we’ve added black-on-black
“K” models with titanium nitride blade coating,
plus black liners, bolsters, fasteners and clip.
The
Pharaoh is a button lock, featuring steel-on-steel lockup.
In addition, we have added our patented* AutoLAWKS™
automatic safety, which engages when the blade is opened
and locked. We believe this combination makes just about
the strongest and most secure lockup possible in a folder.
Dual
checkered thumb studs allow fast either-hand opening. To
close the Pharaoh, you must pull back the AutoLAWKS lever
with the finger while pressing the button lock. The chances
that this folder can close accidentally are very minimal,
if not absolutely zero.
The
Pharaoh uses Torx® fasteners throughout. The stainless
steel pocket/gear clips are removable, and high-mounted
for low in-pocket carry. |

CRKT
Edgie (6442) £
Please call |
It
is called the Edgie™ because it hones its edge every
time it is opened or closed. This first CRKT Edgie model
was designed to be a simple, affordable utility knife with
broad appeal.
The
secret is a diamond-coated spring sharpener built into the
folder frame. (Why didn’t I think of that?) It is
placed at the precise angle to give the Edgie’s Wharncliffe
blade a sharpening stroke as it is closed, and again as
it is opened. Not only do you never need to sharpen the
Edgie with stones or wheels, but you should not, because
it may alter the Edgie’s proper self-sharpening edge
angle. Of course, it is important during a long cutting
work session to periodically open and close the blade to
maintain the edge.
The
high-carbon stainless steel blade in satin finish features
a strong full-width spine for most of its length, dual hollow
grinds, and the single cutting edge. Because the internal
diamond sharpening strip works on this one edge only, a
tiny burr forms, which actually helps cutting action, acting
as a microserration. This makes the Edgie tops for cutting
cardboard boxes, rope, cord and even ripe tomatoes.
For
strength and long life, we’ve used our InterFrame
build, with two stainless steel liners and stainless steel
back spring, all in satin finish. The injection-molded Zytel®
scales have castellations at the spine and a checkered inset
pattern to enhance grip.
Finally,
a removable stainless steel clip in satin finish makes this
a most versatile work knife, ready to clip inside pockets,
on belts or webbing, on tool belts, or on sports gear. |

CRKT
Kommer Full Throttle (1080)
£ Please call |
The
frames are 420J2 stainless steel in a lightly textured 25-micron-thick
blue/black polyurethane hard enamel finish. Often used for
surveillance equipment, tripods and computer parts, this
thin, hard coating gives superior protection from corrosion,
abrasion, and impact. A pronounced finger choil enhances
grip.
Gold-plated
fasteners, blade stop pin, and dual checkered thumb studs
add a distinctive custom touch. We have also replicated
Russ’s back spacer in gold-anodized 6061 T6 aluminium,
complete with CNC-machined file work.
The
premium AUS 8 stainless steel blade in a high satin finish
features a high-hollow grind. Both Razor-Sharp and our exclusive
Combination Razor-Sharp and Veff™ Serrated edges are
available. Designed by knifemaker Tom Veff, these unique
scalloped and angled serrations cut through rope and cord
smoothly without snagging.
Both
blade styles are available in conventional non-assisted
opening models, or with our patented* OutBurst™ assisted
opening mechanism, which instantly springs the blade fully
open after you have opened the blade approximately 30 degrees.
All have bronze and Teflon® bearings at the adjustable
blade pivot for smooth, fast action.
A
high-mounted custom removable mirror-finish stainless steel
clothing/gear clip gives this rugged all-metal work knife
great versatility for carry in pockets or on belts and gear. |

CRKT
Lake III (7255)
£ Please call |
The
blade is a classic drop point with a flat grind for strength
and a brushed finish. Blade steel is premium 8Cr14MoV stainless
steel (equivalent to AUS 8). Dual Lake-style thumb studs
give fast either-hand opening, and the lockback release
allows easy one-hand closing.
The
lockback design allows for a very flat build. The combination
of traditional brass liners and lightweight aluminium scales
results in a very rigid frame. For grip, the black anodised
handle features a basketweave texture and a pronounced finger
choil and pommel.
We’re
producing the Lake 111 Aluminium in two sizes. The larger
models 7255 and 7256 have 3.125” blades and measure
7.25” overall when opened. The smaller models 7253
and 7254 feature 2.50” blades and are 6.00”
long when opened. Both sizes are available with Razor-Sharp
or Combined Razor-Sharp and Triple-Point™ Serrated
edges. These models come with a custom stainless steel clip
in a brushed finish.
For
those truly grimy tasks, we’re also offering a Lake
111 Zytel® model, with stainless steel liners, almost
indestructible black Zytel scales and a Razor-Sharp cutting
edge. Blade steel is the same as the aluminium models. A
bonus denim carry sheath with belt loop is included. |

CRKT
Lake Laredo (7265)
£ Please call |
For
the frame, we specified brass liners and scales CNC machined
from black G10, just what you find in the finest custom
knives. The grip is excellent, thanks to the G10 texture,
three finger choils and thumb friction grooves at the spine.
In
the process, we built in Ron’s patented* Lock Back
Safety (L.B.S.™) which allows the user to slide the
small L.B.S. button forward to lock the blade both in the
open and closed positions. When locked open, it is virtually
impossible to accidentally release the blade even during
vigorous cutting tasks. For those who are concerned about
accidental opening, in-pocket or on-belt, simply slide the
button forward to lock the knife closed until its next use.
We’ve
learned from experience that many of our customers want
a smaller-sized pocket carry, so from the get-go, we’re
making Laredo in two sizes, both available with Razor-Sharp
or Combined Razor-Sharp and Triple-Point™ Serrated
edges. The larger Laredo models 7265 and 7266 have 3.25”
blades and measure 7.375” overall when opened. The
smaller Laredo 2 models 7263 and 7264 feature 2.75”
blades and are 6.25” long when opened.
All
Laredo models are equipped with a removable custom stainless
steel clip. If you prefer to use a fob or lanyard, there’s
a handy lanyard opening in the brass liners at the butt. |

Lake Sentinel (7122s)
£ Please call |
For
the modified drop point blade with its high hollow grind
we are using 8Cr14MoV high-chromium stainless steel, which
specs out slightly better than our favourite AUS 8 premium
blade steel. The brushed finish is easy to clean and has
that traditional custom look. A Lake-designed thumb disk
allows easy one-hand opening.
The Sentinel’s InterFrame build uses dual stainless
steel liners, one locking, finished in black oxide. Handle
scales are CNC-machined 6061 aluminium, black anodised (charcoal
gray on the 7122M).
To aid grip, the handle shape features four naturally spaced
finger choils. In addition, at mid-handle on both sides
are three oval reliefs. These are functional details backed
by anodised aluminium accent panels. Finally, you can choose
from three exotic handle onlay materials, precisely CNC-machined.
The 7122S receives stag horn onlays. Each knife will be
unique due to variations in the natural material. Accent
panels are burgundy anodised. |
