Micron-graded abrasives means you get a consistent, uniform grade of material is bonded to the surface producing a consistent uniform cut. If viewed under a high powered microscope, 3M abrasive paper looks uniform in shape, without the high and low variations that come with conventional papers. These variations in conventional paper can produce inconsistent results, but not with 3M micron-graded abrasive finishing sheets.
 This paper for polishing contoured surfaces, and interior shapes. The special non-woven backing conforms easily to irregular surfaces wihout binding.   It will also give a incredible edge to your blade. Recommended for use on precious and non-precious metals, plastic and wood.
