Horace Sowers live from 1862 through 1931, Kephart a librarian, author, and also an outdoorsman he was the early pioneer in all things that are related to the outdoor life from Camping and Woodcraft, and anything you might have regarding the natural world. As a fitting  homage to this great, abundantly influential man, Ka-Bar has paired up with prolific knife designer Ethan Becker to recreate Kepharts only known knife design, the BKR62.

Rounded walnut scales provide a comfortable grip with  everything... from wood carving to skinning to food prep and everything in between. The edge itself comes all the way back to the handle scales, ensuring maximum utility
