PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
As one
of four blacksmiths, the dwarf Dvalin created the Brisingamen necklace for the
Germanic goddess of love Freya. In Nordic mythology, the special necklace
is said to have magic, love, but also sadness and suffering. Freya's tears
in heaven always promised rich fruit on earth. However, it was the anger
of the father of the gods Odin that often caused the goddess of love to spark
wars in the human world. Dirk Hofmeister from Midgards Messer was inspired
by Nordic black smithing and created the pocket knife version of the popular
Little Dvalin. The powerful Dvalin Folder Drop impresses with its compact
size and features a ball-bearing drop
point blade made of D2 with
a bitter stone wash-Finish
and a pronounced groove on both sides as a nail cut for opening the folding
knife. The ribbing on the back of the blade promises a secure thumb rest
during difficult cutting work. Despite the wrath of the gods, the
well-shaped and partly grooved G10 handle
always sits securely in the hand. The stainless steel frame lock is hidden
on the back of the handle, which reliably secures the blade. Using a
standard 3D printer, you can easily print out alternative handles in a variety
of shapes, colors and materials. The Tip-Up Clip (r)
echoes the texture of the handle, while the lanyard eyelet increases carrying
comfort. Supplied with a high-quality nylon case for storage.
