The Berget is Helle’s first standard model with Micarta handle scales. Small, yet sturdy – the Berget folding knife is based on the smallest model in Helle’s folding knife lineup. With its solid construction and Scandi grind, it is the perfect companion for outdoor use and a practical EDC knife. It’s easy to carry in your pocket, yet remains a reliable tool for your outdoor adventures. The 55mm blade, made of 12C27 steel, features a classic drop-point shape and a nail nick for easy opening. Thanks to the strong back lock and the 2.7mm thick blade, the knife feels and performs almost like a fixed blade when locked, offering exceptional reliability during use. The handle scales are made of Mustard Jute  Micarta, a highly durable material that makes the handle long-lasting and easy to maintain. The subtly curved shape of the handle is inspired by the Heileberget mountain range, which overlooks Helle’s home fjord, Dalsfjorden, and gives the model its name. The slight curve ensures an ergonomic grip, which remains comfortable even during extended use. The handle is secured with screws, allowing it to be easily removed and cleaned if needed.
