In his designs, the Ukrainian knife maker Alexander Krava succeeds excellently in combining form and function at the highest level. Based on Koteyka,  the designer designed the ‎‎slip joint‎‎ knife of the same name. Three-dimensionally milled ‎‎G10‎‎ handle scales with velvet-pawed paw structure up to the back of the blade provide incomparable support, while the ‎‎D2‎‎ blade with ‎‎stone wash‎‎ finish lies in a lurking position and is only released with a quiet purr of the nail house on its prey from everyday cutting work. Even without a locking mechanism, the blade is held securely by the tight spring between the ‎‎stainless steel‎‎ liners.
