NKD Timber 95

The NDK Timber is a modern Nordic puukko style knife blade with a heel. For anyone just starting out with knife making these is a brilliant choice. With a heel at the ricasso, it makes it easier to fit a bolster compared to traditional Finnish Puukkos which often come without. An additional beginner friendly feature on this blade is the slightly pointy shape which makes designing the handle easier. Basic design of a Nordic style knife is to follow the shape of the blade until the belly of the handle, and the Timber 95 makes this very easy. The Timber 95 features a very slight drop point which is favoured by hunters and bush crafters as it gives more control of the tip.
