No.8 Atelier

The Original Opinel knife was first crafted on the banks of a stream which was over looked by the Savoie Mountains. Invented in the year 1890by Joseph Opinel it is a simple tool.The Atelier collection reveals the expertise and creativity of our craftsmen.
Each knife features a handle made from walnut from the French woodlands, the but is of African Ebony which are separated by a thin sheet of Maple. Each knife is then polished.
The blades of made from modified 12C27 Sandvik Steel milled and polished finished.
