OTTER "Bergmann"

The OTTER "Bergmann" combines traditional craftsmanship and innovation from the regions around Solingen in its design and is the perfect everyday companion 

The Bergmann is inspired by one of OTTER's very first knives, the Webermesser.

The carbon blade with its very fine point refers to the original area of application in the textile and ribbon weaving mills of the Bergisches Land. The compact and rounded ebony handle with its black colouring is a reference point to the coal of the Ruhr region. The copper structures in the Fat Carbon bolsters are reminiscent of formations in coal seams.

At the IWA Knife Award 2024, the Bergmann was awarded 2nd place in the "Classic" category.
