Korpi 85

New 85 Korpi full tang ,The NKD Korpi is made in Sandviks stainless 14C28N steel. While relatively unknown, 14C28N steel is an upgrade from Sandviks own 12C27 which is used by many manufacturers worldwide. Both steels have a relatively low carbon content of around 0,6%, but with the addition of Nitrogen to 14C28N it allows the steel reach a higher level of hardness. The nitrogen addition also improves the steels corrosion resistance and edge retention.

After his exit as co-owner of Brisa, Dennis Holmbacka started Nordic Knife Design. Founded by a veteran in the knife industry as designer and tradesman, NKD might be a new name, but there is decades of experience behind it. NKD knives are often minimalistic in details and sport a sleek appearance, traits many would call traditional Scandinavian design. Form following function.
