Custom Knife Maker Herbert Derr (H.K. Derr), A gentle giant of a man, His knives are individually 100% hand crafted from start to finish.
Herb started making knives in 1990 and in 1994, he became a full time knife maker.

Herb’s greatest talent is hand forging stunning, 2700 layer, oil quenched, Nickel/Carbon Damascus blades, the blades sometimes take on colour from vivid green to bright  red , but the colour he has no control over how this  happens its own within 1 degree, These can be sharpened to a razor edge Herb calls his custom knives "functional art."
