Peltonen M07 COMPOSITE SHEATH

The blade is made of carbon steel 80CrV2 with a hardness of 59. The blade is

treated with a PTFE surface treatment that protects the blade from

corrosion. The handle is made of durable TPE material. At the end of the

handle there is a hole for a lanyard. The knife comes with a composite

sheath. The blade of the M07 model is 12.5cm long. It is sharp, retains its

edge for a long time and when needed, is easy to sharpen.

Normally carbon steel is prone to corrosion and will rust easily without

proper care.in the case of the M07 Ranger Knife the properties 0f carbon

steel,such as corrosion resistance, have been improved with different types

of coatings.
