Moonraker Knives is an independent knife retailer and wholesaler based in West Knoyle, near Warminster in Wiltshire. We have been selling knives since 1991, and today we sell online to customers across the UK and overseas, with a range of over 4,000 products.

We have been in the trade long enough to remember most of the knives that are no longer made. If you are looking for an older or discontinued model, ask us: we may have one, or know what replaced it. And if you are looking for an item and can't find it on the website, give us a call: we may be able to point you in the right direction.

Delivery

UK: next working day when you order before 1pm. The Scottish Highlands and Northern Ireland take 48 hours.
Overseas: we ship to the EU, the USA and Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and China, usually within 5 to 20 working days. Import duties and taxes are paid by the person receiving the parcel.

Adults only

We only sell knives to people aged 18 or over, and we check. Every buyer's age is checked against the electoral register, and if we can't confirm it we ask for a copy of a passport or driving licence (you can cover everything except the photo and the date of birth). No check, no order. Every UK parcel is then age verified, tracked and signed for by an adult on delivery.

We also take part in regular briefings with the Metropolitan Police on selling knives responsibly.

What we don't do

We don't sell knives to anyone under 18.
We don't sell knives that are banned in the UK.
We don't have a shop or showroom, and can't take visitors.
We don't offer a sharpening service, but we can put you in touch with a sharpener we know.

Knives and the law in the UK

It is legal to buy and own the knives we sell if you are 18 or over. Carrying one in public is a different matter. GOV.UK says you can carry a folding knife in public without needing a reason only if its cutting edge is no longer than 3 inches and it is not a lock knife. A lock knife, or a fixed blade, needs a good reason to be carried in public, such as for your work. The full rules are on GOV.UK: https://www.gov.uk/buying-carrying-knives
