Mora Woodcarving Knife 120 (LC)

The Woodcarving Knife 120 (LC) is a classic whittling knife with a 62 mm laminated carbon steel blade. The short, pointed blade offers good precision for fine carving and detailed work. The barrel-shaped handle in oiled birch sits comfortably in the hand and provides control with every cut.

The Woodcarving Knife 120 (LC) is a trusted basic knife among both beginners and experienced carvers. The shorter blade combined with the comfortable handle makes it a reliable tool for woodwork where precision matters.       The blade is 2.7 mm thick and made from French laminated carbon steel (100CR6). A carbon steel core is surrounded by softer steel, giving the knife excellent edge retention and toughness to handle lateral stress. The blade reaches a hardness of 58.5 HRC and has a polished surface that protects against rust, but should always be wiped and oiled after use.        The knife is assembled and heat-treated at our factory in Mora, Sweden – with 135 years of knife-making tradition.
