Cold Steel Bushman

The extremely stable Cold Steel Bushman is a versatile survival knife with a practical hollow handle. The blade made of SK5 carbon steel is ground thin, then removed by hand and sharpened with a razor. For many outdoor enthusiasts, a carbon steel blade is still the preferred material when it comes to practical use. The easy resharpenability compared to chrome steels, and with a similar edge retention, represents a huge advantage for many users. The dark coating of the blade nevertheless ensures excellent corrosion protection.

The hollow handle offers space for important survival equipment and can be extended with various extensions to optimize reach or leverage. Unlike most knives with a hollow handle, there are no joints or seams between the blade and the handle, instead the Bushman is cold forged from a single piece of SK-5 . The knife is then properly heat treated and hardened to 54 HRC . With a precisely fitting plastic sheath and a practical Au-metal flint that can be used on the back of the blade.
