Spyderco Para Military 2 Lightweight revolutionized the original version of this iconic design by expressing it in a highly refined lightweight format. More than 25 percent lighter than its G-10-handled counterpart, its injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle also offers the enhanced grip security of Spyderco’s proven Bi-Directional Texture pattern. However, the streamlined engineering of this remarkable design does more than just trim its weight; it also reduces its number of metal components, making it an ideal candidate for Spyderco’s ultra-corrosion-resistant Salt Series. 
The Para Military 2 Lightweight Salt proudly showcases a full-flat-ground blade crafted from CPM MagnaCut—a revolutionary blade steel that challenges conventional metallurgy to deliver an exceptional balance of edge retention, toughness, and extreme corrosion resistance. Available in both PlainEdge and fully serrated Spyder Edge formats, the satin-finished blade is paired with a bright yellow FRN handle that enhances the knife’s visibility in and around the water. The handle is also home to the knife’s streamlined Compression Lock mechanism, a generously sized lanyard hole, and a reversible deep-pocket wire clip that offers a choice of left- or right-side tip-up carry. Like all Salt Series folders, the handle components and hardware of the Para Military 2 Lightweight Salt are also crafted from premium, corrosion-resistant, marine-grade materials.
